WESTWOOD, CA — Trapped at a frat party, standing on sticky floors, only to realize the room is full of frat boys that look like clones with the same ill fitting clothes, hairstyles, and beer bottle in hand? Lady Vengeance has the antidote. Their debut single, “Clone Wars,” is a blistering punk track taking aim at the cookie-cutter conformity of Greek Life. Releasing February 14, 2025, via Cherry Pop Records, the band’s debut single is loud, unapologetic, and ready to burn the whole system down—musically, of course.
From the opening bass riff, “Clone Wars” grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let you go. It dives headfirst into the messiness and conformity of university Greek Life. With a relentless drumbeat fueling the chaos, and snarling, shouted vocals channeling pure defiance, the track is built for screaming along at full volume with friends — preferably while knocking over a Solo cup tower. A shredding guitar solo and a biting spoken-word monologue in the bridge only adds to its riotous, mosh-pit-ready sound.
Lead guitarist Kate shares insight into the song’s construction: “For the guitar part, I was just thinking of your straight forward, old fashion power chord riff. As for the guitar solo […] I want[ed] a solo you can hum along to […] I feel that’s so important to me—a guitar solo […] [One] you can bounce your head along to.”
“Clone Wars” drops February 14, 2025, on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
Rethink the frat party. Turn up the volume. Scream along.

About Lady Vengeance:
Lady Vengeance is an alternative punk band straight out of Los Angeles, built on grit, rebellion, and raw energy. The five-piece, formed by five UCLA students, draws inspiration from early 2000s punk and rock icons like My Chemical Romance and Queens of the Stone Age. Blending a dark, gothic aesthetic with an electrifying live presence, they’ve become a standout in Westwood’s underground music scene. Currently signed to Cherry Pop Records, Lady Vengeance is working on their debut EP, set to drop in early Summer 2025.
