LOS ANGELES, CA – MAY 5, 2025 – Avery Lynch is no stranger to change. As an artist, she's constantly evolving musically and in how she connects with her audience. Having built a loyal following over the years, Lynch's ability to tap into her fans' emotions with her raw and honest songwriting has led to a deeper, more meaningful connection. How she approaches her craft and fanbase feels personal, real, and undeniably genuine.
With a career that has seen six EPs and 16 singles, Lynch's music has always been a blend of vulnerability and melodic beauty. But despite a growing catalog of music, it's clear that she's ready to push further into new territory. She has big plans for the works, which include releasing songs as part of a carefully crafted collection that will eventually culminate in a project.
"We have a whole plan," Lynch says. "We're doing another kind of like, what I did for the 'Friction' collection—it's a bit of a collection. We're going to be releasing these songs that I've written, one at a time, and getting to the end goal, which is the project."
Lynch's willingness to step outside her comfort zone is evident in her creative decisions. This is her first time working with a single creative director who will handle everything from visuals to video production. As she describes it, this new phase feels like a step up in terms of the scope of her work.
"It just feels like it's elevated a bit," she explains. "I'm so obsessed with the songs. We're still in the production process, but we're doing them one at a time."
While Lynch's music continues to evolve, so does her relationship with her fans. Unlike many artists who separate their personal lives from their public persona, Avery has embraced a more intimate approach to her social media presence. With over 400,000 listeners on Spotify, she's found a unique way to stay connected with her most dedicated fans.
Avery's decision to share her personal moments with a select group of followers started as an idea from her manager. The "Close Friends" feature on Instagram allowed her to interact with fans without feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of public scrutiny.
Now, Avery's Close Friends group is a community of loyal fans who get to see behind-the-scenes moments, hear about upcoming projects, and interact with the artist on a deeper level. The relationship is a two-way street. She takes the time to respond to messages, engage with comments, and even add new fans to the group.
"I answer everybody, and we DM every day," she says, a warmth in her voice. "It's honestly the best. They're my favorite people ever. It's like hanging out with friends and receiving so much support."
For Avery, these connections are invaluable. She's not just building a fanbase, but instead, a family. This closeness is evident in how her fans engage with her music, too. They send her pictures of their listening habits, sharing how many times they've replayed her songs, and constantly show their love for her work. She even mentions that one of her tracks, "Useless Information," has received an unexpected boost in streams on Apple Music.
"The fans who really connect with my music—they're the ones that send me the sweetest messages, like telling me how much they love a song or how many times they've listened to it," she says. "It just means everything to me. It's real support."
With new music on the horizon and growing confidence in her art and her relationship with her fans, Avery Lynch is poised to take the next step in her career. Whether it's the new collection of songs or a potential tour, she's ready to continue evolving as an artist and person.
